Feanor all the way from the US as well as our
diligent destructive
demoman Duece. First up is
Feanor's rig:
Upon first glance one will notice that the one thing that these 2 combatants have in common is the minimalist look and feel. This is particularly so for
Feanor as he has almost nothing academic visible on his desktop! Truly worthy of the term 'gaming station '!
Feanor's choice of black and red casing unit with blue led lit transparent side-panel catches the eye as a force to be reckoned with.
Taking minimalism to a whole new level,
Duece's game area is not only sparse, it's old school! Being the ONLY
XsT so far to submit a
deskshot with a CRT monitor,
Duece's system is no pushover. He's still using a souped up CPU power tower as well as having the
advantage over all of us who have to disable
vsync to hit desired
framerates. I hope he keeps the, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy, sure saves heaps of cash. That's really an old school computing area
